bird of paradise white 6.5"
Native to South Africa, the bird of paradise are simply plant royalty. They resemble a banana tree and often are mistaken but these regal beauties are named for their gorgeous orange crane-like flowers. The split leaves are purposely arranged to let the wind pass by and not snap the foliage. Be careful if you have human or fur babies, they are toxic.
To care, ensure soil is moist but not overwatered. When the top 1” to 2” of the soil are dry to the touch, water and ensure the water reaches to the bottom of the planter.
Bright and indirect sunlight are preferable.
This plant lives well in high humidity.
